Time to live up to my past promise on an extensive overview of tools for watercolor painting. If I had to rank the priority of each, I would break it out as follows:
1. Paper - quality 140lb or 300lb watercolor paper
2. Paints - Artist grades will certainly improve your painting skills and techniques
3. Brushes - This comes in last place because different artists' prefer different types of brushes

I bought some plants about a week or so ago from JuciyKits.com to build a few more terrariums. They have a great selection and wonderful terrarium kits for anyone who doesn't want to drive around town picking up all the necessary supplies.
They also have great tutorials and tips on terrarium creation and care. Their 'Moonshine' series inspired me to make these cute little BlueMason Jar Terrariums!

Read MoreI decided to buy a new journal just for watercolors and settled on the super expensive A4 Moleskine Watercolor Album. I usually use a small 9x6 Aquabee journal but it was spiral-ring bounded and didn't keep my pages in place. Moleskines are extremely popular and I could never figure out what the hype was about (especially because they come with a hefty price tag)
